My Littlest Sis

We're really proud and thankful for all of our family members. I thought today would be a great day to brag up my littlest sister as it is her 20th birthday. Last year at the State Horse Expo an agent from "Farm Boy" Clothing (http://www.farmboybrand.com/) saw Stephanie and asked her to do some modeling for them! Here's some of her pics...

We love you Stephanie. You are a beautiful young lady on the outside and even more beautiful on the inside. It's a blessing to have you in our lives. We hope you have a great day and we pray for God's guidance for your future.

What's with the Title?

After much thought, we chose "Like Potter's Clay" because we think it describes our lives quite well. At times we have imagined the "perfect" life we think we should have, and we've been upset when things have not turned out that way. Slowly God has been teaching us and changing our hearts. (In Isaiah chapter 45, God asks,"Does the Clay say to the Potter, 'What are you making?'" He continues, "Do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands?") We are learning to trust in His good plan for our lives, even when it doesn't look the way we originally thought it should. We are learning that even when we may be in a valley, or when things seem to have gone wrong, God can make good come of it and be glorified through it. ("In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28)
We are clay in the Potter's hands. And we're beginning to like it that way.
